Motion City's Commit This to Memory and Even If It Kills Me are two of the most important records in my life. I will forever love those, but their first four albums I think are genuinely fantastic. Highly recommend those.

I gave the latest TWY record another spin and the production is better than NCTH but still is a major letdown and I find a lot of the tracks to just be boring. I don't really hold out hope that they'll put out a record that ever grabs me like their earlier work did, but a lot of that has to do with where I'm at in life and what my musical interests are these days, and not entirely about their quality as musicians.

i've been hungover all day and just got home after seeing a four hour long play. it wasn't bad. i'm tired and now will just lay around and watch tv or play video games. how's yours?

angels in america. technically it's an eight hour play, this was part 2 after i saw part 1 last sunday. there were two intermissions.

 

Being hungover at a four hour play does not sound fun lol. Mines ok did a bunch of cleaning now ready to relax, smoke, and watch a movie.
