I like the album a fair amount, a whole lot better stuff has come out this year though, so I don't really see myself ever coming back to it that often, especially with the person Kanye has turned into.

There was an entire day of well thought out and really good posts explaining all of this ... they ended up just getting ignored. Then it turned into drive-by postings of "soon" and "can't wait" and direct jabs at people on a forum for caring about things like rape, sexual abuse, nazis, and those that enable them and acting as though caring about this was a bad thing.

I don't get what is so wrong with an echo chamber. And this so directly contradicts his message to his daughter in that other fucked up song. He knows men are fucked up, men are predatory, men can be violent and controlling, but he will defend those awful, abusive men every time over women, cause at the end of the day he only wants to preserve the power of himself and other men, and maintain the control he has over women. Whether that goes for protecting abusers, or preventing his daughter from having a normal life with her own choices, the only thing that matters to him is that men never give up control, and women never gain any.
