This is @Dog with a Blog. Another cool K-9 I don’t get to see much. Had a blast taking him for a walk Sunday. He is so talented when it comes to doing tricks, just picked up rolling over with ease. I wish I could be like that.

I'm very close to that point with some members of my extended family tbh. I feel like maybe I should give my immediate family a little more credit because we have similar view points for most things; their views just tend to be closer to the middle than mine. I am working on being less sanctimonious (not sure if this is totally the correct word to use here, but along those lines) and more level headed though when it comes to engaging in conversation.

Aside from the one conversation regarding Twitter and Rosanne at the beginning of the get together, it was enjoyable. My brother has been getting his stuff together to move down to FL, so we said our goodbyes and he left after lunch. I'm bummed out but excited for him to be doing something that will make him happy.

Oof. That's always awkward. That's like, last time I hung out with my dad, it was me and him and my son. We had a bit of a drive and my dad was ignoring and talking over my son so he could share with me how he feels about trans people. I was so mad. My little boy was so excited to be in the car with his grandpa that he rarely gets to see. I'm glad my son didn't understand most of what my dad said.

 

Classic Colin. That guy never listens to new music.
