i don't actually want songs that sound identical to those two (i know how dumb that thought is) but those songs just have an energy and hook to them that grabs me a lot more than most of their other songs. "love me" didn't do it for me, and this new one doesn't either. but i mean, i've only heard the song once so i'm obviously jumping the gun and being a typical internet forum user right now, ha.

also, that emoji looks like when rabbit draws a face on winnie the pooh's butt after he gets stuck in the hole when he ate too much honey.

What island is this? I went to Oahu last year at the end of June/early July and saw a large film crew setting up camp and film gear at this landmark called the Halona Blowhole. Googled filming locations for that spot and discovered they were filming scenes for Fallen Kingdom while we were there. It was cool driving by that almost every day for a few days and just watching the crew.

 

Can we talk about what a great album title this is?

I don't know them as people, their music is hot garbage though.

 

I started the day with no song and a million questions and now I end the day with a new song and more questions than when I started.

No touring until January is strange if they are dropping a new album in October. I feel there's much, much more left to this than we were given today....which is exactly what I love about this band.

 

Like i said 2-3 more singles in the next few months is a lot to look forward to

 

So music video at midnight based on their Instagram story? Is that all we expect to get?

Definitely, I agree but also still confused by no touring this year. That said, the aesthetic of the album and promotion (portrait mode music video etc.) I feel like if it's true we aren't getting shows until 2019..there's going to be some fun online content that's pushed out.

Either way, I love The 1975 season.


Also, does anyone remember how long after Love Me that preorders went up for ILIWYS?
