I have a dumb question that I think is just the Seinfeld obsessive in me but I’ve still always wondered about it:

When people identify their pronouns, why do they say, for example, she/her/hers? Wouldn’t the first one by itself suffice?

 

never actually seen anyone do that. only she/her he/him they/them etc

 

also youtube as a company is transphobic as hell

pretending we don't exist or need resources will not actually stop us from existing and needing resources

It only cares about the corporations like itself, not its creators. People all across the board are being hit for the most mundane shit and it's been getting worse recently. :(

Taking my family to PRIDE festival in Boise this next weekend! Downtown is riddled with rainbow flags on all the lamp posts, and although this is very much Trump country, it's got a beautiful side of acceptance and inclusion as well. Going to be great being around young people filled with hope and optimism, and to expose my kids to all types of different people. Food is always 10/10 as well...which is what i'm most looking forward to :).
