Also yea this definitely didn't pick up a lot of the Open Air acts like people thought. It went pretty much the exact opposite direction.

    Must sees:
    Blink-182
    Beck
    Father John Misty
    Bleachers
    The Front Bottoms
    The Wonder Years
    Liz Phair
    Superchunk
    Kevin Devine
    The Audtiion
    Mom Jeans.

I started to list others I was excited/interested in but it was getting too long.

The young street punk fan in me is pumped to see Lower Class Brats on that undercard.

I'm not surprised by that. Open Air was...special in a bad way.

Also - Hobo Johnson billed above Bouncing Souls makes me hurt

It will be a top 5 set regardless because it's the Souls. The crowd will pop off for them so it won't matter what stage or time they are at.

Yeah the last time they played Riot Fest was probably my favorite time ever seeing them

Really? I guess a large crowd going nuts for them is cool. I've seen them do Warped main stage twice and then at the Agora Theater and Jacobs Pavilion. Those are the largest settings I've seen them perform. The first Warped experience was really cool because it was on the Anchors cycle. Next Warped experience was around the Gold Record period. My favorite time was probably Grog Shop back to back nights with the Loved Ones.

It was a godsend having that last year. I left around 9:30 every day and it was a lifesaver beating the traffic.

Leaving before the headliners made it so much easier/cheaper for us to grab a Lyft. Honestly okay with doing that again this year haha.

It's weird, I hadn't even thought about YTG in a while until I was talking to a friend of mine about them the other day. Nothing came close to "Cough Syrup" for me, but they must have a lot of pull to be above FJM and Interpol.

So I checked out Spitalfield last year out of curiosity and I thought they were pretty bad. Is this like a Chicago nostalgia thing I'm missing?

My boss absolutely loves Alkaline Trio and Blink so when I showed him the lineup he started looking up reasons for us to go to Chicago that weekend . Fingers crossed it works and my flight/hotel are covered by work.

Funny how my friends who do Riot Fest every year hate this lineup. I think it's one of their bests. I'd be stoked to see:

    Blink 182
    Beck
    Young the Giant
    Incubus
    Alkaline Trio
    Blondie
    Bleachers
    Cypress Hill
    The Voidz
    The Front Bottoms
    Liz Phair
    Johnny Mar
    SPITALFIELD
    Bully

Damn that'd be a fun weekend.
