by itself, no, but Colby has a different framework for what he considers music that is good or he likes and the Beatles are outside of the things he likes. he's not even saying they're bad, but for whatever reason his tastes don't fuck w old music or w/e. like, the Beatles are great pop songwriters, great songwriters period, it's probably not a stretch to say that a fair amount of the bands Colby likes are directly or indirectly influenced by them, so that makes Colby's rejection of them as something out of his tastes interesting to me. it's like a statement saying this is the particular style of pop music I enjoy and that's what I want out of the music I consume. or I guess more specifically that the specific genre conventions of pop punk are instrumental to the foundations of his tastes and the growing of it doesn't include the canon but it's totally unpretentious. idk!!

1. Work at Target. Good company to work for, though statistically speaking it’s harder to get hired there than it is to get accepted into Yale.

2. Trader Joe’s. Great entry level job, and not hard.

3. In N Out. Pay is good and treats their employees well, and if you work there for awhile you’ll get rewarded for it. My friends brother is a manager there and makes like 60k lol.
