I’m pretty happy with this lineup, especially Elvis Costello. I’ve been wanting to see him for a long time. I’m always excited to see TWY and Bleachers again as well. Beach Bunny is a great local pick.

This lineup is incredible and I’m so damn excited.

 

I guess I’m lucky being in Chicago so I can see Spitalfield whenever they do play a show.

 

Yeah I'm pretty into this, lots of solid bands on here. Will probably get more excited as time goes on and reality starts to kick in.

 

How often is that?

 

It’s probably been two years now. It was Wicker Park Fest last I remember.

 

Decent enough lineup. I’d go if it was in my city but I wouldn’t travel for this.

 

I will do a full list of who I’m seeing when I’m home from Menzingers.

 

I cannot wait

 

Not too psyched about that left side yet (I will withhold judgment until I know the third headliner), but the right side has some great acts for me. I've meant to see Fear and the Adolescents for a while now but never have. And I have already gone on about how big the Cobra Skulls are for me.

Edit: it is a little disappointing to see the top headliner be a repeat that has fewer original members than the first time they played. Guess I will hope that the third headliner is awesome and takes over the number one spot.

 

And headlined Lollapalooza last year. Literally the scraps from another festival.

There’s a nice mix of bands that I just wanna check out because I probably won’t see them tour by me and bands that I really love and want to see. So so happy for the guys in Save Face. That band deserves to be huge.

 

I don't mind the headliners. I'm probably less excited when blink 182 tours now than I've ever been, but Incubus, Beck, Elvis Costello, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Father John Misty are all cool choices imo

 

Alright, so what’s your take on this?

 

If you like this music scene, it's a really good lineup full of more bands than I'd be able to fit into a day.

There’s like 40 bands on for me on there ranging from “favorite” to “I guess I’d watch that” but it’s still not worth the money and trip as it stands. Just not enough of my personal holy grails like every other year I’ve gone, and some gross bookings don’t help.

 

Who's gonna start that pit for Jerry Lee Lewis, though?

 

Honestly very surprised that the Wonder Years are playing back to back, but definitely ok with it.

 

They played 2016, not last year.

 

You know I’m pretty sure someone corrected me on that earlier in this thread but I just can’t get it out of my head. But yea that makes a lot more sense.
