Revolution Radio was very good. I won’t deny that the trilogy was bad.

Some of the language on American Idiot is bad and problematic and I’m not gonna defend that either. But I do believe they have done a lot for music, and have put out some really good albums, that actually have things to say. It’s why I’ll always Stan them over Blink, because Green Day continued to experiment and change their sound, unlike Blink who tried that on like one album and then went back to what they always do.

Green Day was probably the first band I really loved and got me involved in the music scene and also kind of pushed me to look more at what was going on in the world and shit so maybe I’m just too emotionally invested though
