I still have full hope Alk3 recorded

 

Mark and Travis have been in the studio since at least last week so I would assume Matt has been around since then as well.

While I'm holding out hold too, realistically I don't know if it's really possible unless that album is nearly complete. Even then it doesn't leave Trio much if any time to have a real tour unless they do one at the end of blink's Vegas weekend shows and before another massive blink summer tour.

I wouldn't be surprised at all!And I would definitely not judge until I hear some songs!But yea if there is Trio album,I hope that Bill produced it again

 

I think this is why he bugs me lol.

 

So somebody in the Trio FB group saw that band Sharp/Shock and spoke to the singer and he said they are supposed to be touring with the Trio at some point this year. Sharp/Shock is on Heart & Skull.

 

They opened up for Alkaline on New Year’s Eve. Awesome band.

 

Fingers crossed there’s a new album or EP this year too.

 

Right now it looks like Trio could tour in July to September and then again in December pending any blink shows that are already scheduled but not made public yet. I think Mark said that they had some east coast shows scheduled but not announced yet.

I'd much rather have a new album than a tour though. But who knows maybe we'll get both.

 

I mean if they do a full run of shows it's definitely for a new album. I don't see the point in doing a full run if they aren't touring for a new album.

 

Yeah I agree completely. Hopefully we get some solid information soon from the band.

Regarding past live orders.

 

It makes me feel better that they self released this and that they’re sure to see our money for it. Although, if they had a label do it I bet the label makes sure everything is running smoothly for the release, even if it costs the band a chunk of money for the project to be managed by another party. Gotta learn somehow!

I can totally see the band releasing their next album through their own label now, but I still want to see them sign with Fat Wreck Chords, especially since Fat Mike always says he regrets never getting Alkaline Trio to sign with him.

 

Exactly ! I'm just happy they are doing the best they can do with the situation. Also, I this wasn't my message. It was posted in the Trio group. At the end of the exchange Dan said something about seeing everyone soon.

 

I’d love to see them on Fat too.

Yeah I'm surprised too. I've been checking on and off for awhile to see if any of the video footage leaked but nothing until today. I guess they figure it will leak sooner or later so why not beat people to the punch.

Hope they release Crimson and FHTI soon.

 

Yeah too bad I can't afford Riot Fest. I can't ever have amazing things.
