I finally saw Full Metal Jacket. Always cool to watch a movie for the first time on the big screen.

Next month that theater is doing a Scorsese/De Niro fest will prob be going to see Goodfellas.

Yeah i enjoyed it for sure. Love me some Kubrick. Now that I know what to expect would be interesting to watch it again and see what else i pick up on but yeah loved the psychological drama aspects of it. Definitely not a typical war movie. Even had some dark comedy in the first half.

I actually haven't seen it all! I know its bad i really need to especially since I'm such a Sorsese fan!

 

The psychological elements of it definitely make for a jarring first watch! Brilliant movie though

Harry Styles is actually quite decent in Dunkirk eh pretty wild. Nolan is pretty much a modern day Kubrick now. I wonder what his next project will be.
