oh i didn't see that. yeah i think the more sexual in nature the thread gets the sharper the decline in both quality and people participating becomes.

I definitely step back from the thread when I come in and see long stretches of something dumb

 

just to quickly throw my opinion in while catching up on what i missed this morning: this thread is absolutely overwhelming and seems clique-y to an outsider. i was friends with a handful of people in here and had heard them talk about the thread constantly before deciding to step in myself and post (though that's partially my own anxiety). that's not to say we're not welcoming, because of course we are - i immediately felt at home here after a few pages of getting used to the vibe and a1 has helped me a ton mentally by knowing i can just pop in here and something will make me laugh. sometimes (okay, often) we may let bits run rampant and if you're new and coming in here that probably doesn't help the clique feel from the outside but bottom line is that this is one of the most friendly, safe, enjoyable threads on the site and it's become the reason i spend so much of my day here.

 

The promotion that had to happen to pave the way for mine just went through this morning. SO. I may even know today.

 

it's weird to me that I can tweet about anything but as soon as I physically write it down I start feeling like what I have to say has to be actually important and I don't know why that is
