i feel like this poster does this anytime a band they like is going to release something, but i could be confusing them with the other handful of people who are always hoping for leaks

 

Guys, I was just kidding. I don’t actually want it to be released. I just want a 38 minute recording of Zane Lowe saying how dope each song is.

 

When leaks are out tho, people listen to em, right? It sucks that artists visions get compromised, but I was under the impression people take advantage of them when they can.

 

there is an absolutely massive difference between actively hoping for a leak and listening to a leak, and the vast majority of people on this website who do listen to leaks are simultaneously supporting artists via merch, shows, vinyl, etc.

 

I like a brief inquiry as a title better and in no small part because the EP already exists

 

Yeah for sure, and I almost never look for leaks anyway, it's weird because I hate knowing it's bad for an artist I'm supporting and I think it may hurt the listening experience having that negative mindset.

Musically i wonder where they'll go with this "last album". I understand and appreciate that it's a massive part of the band but i don't really care for the theatrical side these days. Wouldn't mind an album of She's American redux x10 or they could go full on 80s and do a bunch of Peter Cetera inspired songs.

 

An album of She's American would be probably be regression, I want a journey.

ILIWYS came out at the perfect time for me. Really curious to see if their new material resonates with my current headspace (not that I'll enjoy it any less if it doesn't), since their music usually does! I'm in a much different place now than I was in 2016, in a good way! I posted about this in the happiness thread but I came out to my family and openly talked about my struggles with mental illness with them a few weeks ago, and it went very well, resulting in me feeling weightless for the first time since I was a kid. Curious if MFC will cover finally feeling free, haha
