Watching the last few episodes of New Girl. I had put it off because it's always sad to say goodbye to shows!

 

Honestly one of the best finales I have ever seen.

 

Haven't seen the last few seasons just because... I dropped off When Schmidt brought the house and they all started sledgehammering walls or something to that effect. How do the last couple of seasons hold up?

 

That makes me really happy to hear! Always sucks when great shows go out with bad finales.

I'm disappointed now because I didn't realize that was the series finale.

 

It’s brilliant

 

I got really attached to the show in the last few years- did not like the first season a lot. But it made me quite emotional and the last minute is pretty great.

 

The show has only gotten better as the seasons have gone on in my opinion. There has been so much character development throughout the series, and all the leads are so likable that they've all been my favorite at different times

I agree that it only got better as it continued, I feel like the characters were more "realistic" than the majority of Sitcoms, like the amounts of times that something has happened in the show and either myself or people I know have said or done similar things is unparalleled.

 

I'm not disappointed in the finale. It was very good, I just didn't know that it was the finale as I watched it and didn't know we were only getting 8 episodes

 

I hate sitcoms so won't watch New Girl

Actually I truthfully don't mind it. Also liked most of what I saw of How I Met Your Mother

The newer svu are pretty good too, once you get used to new characters.
