Was listening to 31 thoughts...they talk about the cup final with 12 minutes left...they spent more time talking about Marek's idiot comments about video games, interviewing some blues draft pick playing junior, and the Dubas hiring and what that means for Hunter.

Is toronto hockey media really this bad? This is a sportsnet podcast during the late stages of the playoffs.

 

I like his 31 thoughts column a lot but never listened to the podcast

 

It was great for regular season and both the guys have their merits but it's just lame that this deep in the playoffs they'd rather talk about junior players than vegas-caps.

Biscuits podcast is prob my favorite...dave lozo and downgoesbrown. Perfect mix.

tbh I would probably imagine 31 thought the podcast was just an audio version of the article.

 

Marek has always been a junior hockey guy so I understand him talking about the Memorial Cup more. I think he’s actually on-site for that. 31 Thoughts is just a platform for Friedman to reveal how bad his opinions are. His head is so far up Lou’s ass and the story in this week’s column was fucking weird.

I was stoked when Lozo and Wysh started a podcast because I can ignore those two simpletons easier now.

Young goalies get eaten alive in the NHL. He’ll be in the AHL if Philly isn’t stupid.

 

He will absolutely start in the AHL, as he should. I wasn’t really suggesting otherwise. I’m merely hoping that Philly manages to not ruin another young goalie as they seem to do with any young netminder with a shrewd of promise that rolls through Philly.

Stolarz was supposed to be good (no). Lyon is suppose to be good (meh). Tokarski is in the system for some weird reason.

Just concerned here, is all.

 

Stolarz was on a pretty good track until the knee injuries. Sucks.

Precisely why I stopped listening to wysh and marek and whys and lozo. Wysh barely seems to know how hockey works, it's ugly.

The thing is...Marek does (or did?) have a podcast dedicated to Junior Hockey...I'm fine with it being sprinkled in 31 thoughts but I'm just saying ever since the conference finals started it's like their attention to discussing NHL hockey has been waning.

Friedman is whatever, I hate trudging through his 31 thoughts since it rarely provides interesting info. He's good on the podcast.

 

There's like no way he didn't wish him luck haha

 

DGB is surprisingly awkward on the cast, not like his writing would suggest at all. Lozo is whatever, I just dig is overall cynicism towards hockey and life in general lol.
