the melodies are strong as hell tbh. like, finally a band has remembered that if you use mostly power chords it opens up a huge range melodically and is taking advantage of it. also it's really in for indie bands to kinda reign it in on the recordings rn but Joyce still goes for the high energy and aggression p consistently

they just are kind of the odd one out for a lot of the bands in their lane, in a good way and I think that makes a difference

No no you’re fine. I’m just exasperated. I just have so little income coming in and now that my ex moved out I don’t have his rent money to pay my car insurance so I’m just struggling. Like I’ve managed to basically barely keep afloat and I knew this time was looming ahead but I ignored it. And now it’s basically here. I’ve always been able to scrape by but that isn’t looking possible anymore.
