I’m one stamp away from another field research Poke...if I wait for June 1st, will it be Articuno if I hold off? Or will it be Zapdos because of when I started it?

I'm still at 2 of 10 ghosts in my quest for Mew. Neither have been Gastly thus far. Weird breakdown.

 

I know this might make me sound like a brat but I really hope that the rewards for the adventure week research come out to be shinies because hatching 3 eggs for an Omanyte that I’m seeing everywhere seems dumb

I had 70 rare candies that I didn't know where to put, so I dumped them all on Mew.

First Pokemon I caught this morning was a weather boosted, 896cp, shiny, 82% IV Kabuto. I evolved it, immediately

Good start to the day. Also, popped a lucky egg and found an area that had like 10 stops I had never been to before and racked up some xp.

Edit: Now I just gotta try to get a shiny Omastar

I guess during the update there was code discovered for "rainbow weather" and people are speculating that when rainbow weather is triggered the Alolan forms will be obtainable. And...apparently some players are already sending in screenshots with rainbows in the background.

Also, they are saying that rainbow weather is a random event that takes place. There is nothing specifically that triggers it according to the interwebz.

 

Of course there is a tropical storm watch for the day of my first Mewtwo raid in months and it looks like people are backing out. I’ll stand out in rain, wind, possible tornadoes, and storm surge for the chance to catch a bunch of pixelated 0’s and 1’s that form a Mewtwo. I ain’t scurred

 

No rock shinies for me yet. At least they're cool ones though, and not Nosepass.

 

I’m just happy I got a shiny Kabutops that has a pretty good IV rating (82%)

 

My good friend caught a weather boosted, shiny, 96% Ho-Oh yesterday at a raid right next to me. I was beyond jealous.

 

Keep missing Ho-Oh catches

 

I should really start doing raids somehow.

 

Got my Lilleep evolved today and my Armaldo. I’m at 342 Caught, 351 seen.

20 candy from Salamence.

30 from Metagross.

 

Ho-Oh with Solar Beam is so annoying. It takes such a long time to defeat, and most super effective moves are learned by Pokemon that get OHKO'd.
