Band name wise Hoobastank is like The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus a completely made up name that makes zero sense but I guess that can be said about a lot of band names. I just find those two particularly funny.

 

Stone Temple Pilots also is meaningless I think.

 

Foo Fighters too. what is a Foo?

 

I remember discovering a band on AP called Cock Douglas and they tried to give a deep explanation why they choose that name it was pretty funny but I've been too afraid to google and try and find it now. Plus ap is no more anyways.

Aha! so there are two Senses Fail albums I totally missed. I haven't been a good buddy to Buddy. Thanks for clarifying. It was a track that came up on rotation in Apple Music, I assumed it was the newest album.

 

You should check out their newest album ‘If There Is Light, It Will Find You’. One of their best releases to date and a return to their roots sound wise
