I could watch all 3 hours of Raw like this.

His interactions with Brauns music and Braun himself were great

just a much better show than raw right now and its not even close. This wasn't even a particular "good smackdown" and it was still much more watchable than raw.

another week where i hope wrestling fans realize how amazing AIDEN is and not necessarily Rusev (who is also amazing)

Not into Carmella anymore...not into carmella AND iconics both trying to get Vickie Guerrero type heat on the same show.

"I like my tommy to be a guy" probably overthinking but the way he said it was kinda odd

UFC signed with ESPN. Though for less than what just Smackdown alone is worth

  10. UFC deal is 1.5 billion total. 300 million a year for 30 shows.

WWE is 1 billion for five years for 52 shows a year.

Apples to Oranges at this point. WWE continues to put their biggest stars on free tv. UFC will continue to only put their stars on $60 PPVs.

Though, WWE moving to FOX is a way bigger deal than the UFC going to ESPN (at least on paper, but history shows UFC won’t change their stance on putting big stars on cable)

  11. WWE is also worth WAY more at this point. Zuffa sold the UFC for $4 billion

WWE could easily sell for over $6 billion and that number will only climb

I can't believe people are willing to pay those prices for ppvs

  13. It’s absurd lol. UFC is terrified of what life after PPV looks like. Whereas nearly every other company that has strayed from it is doing incredibly well

can't be made fun of Prestigious

UFC inherently can't create compelling regular TV with how long of a gap fighters need between bouts, it's the biggest barrier of entry for me

The toughest thing is how volatile the business is. Between guys not making weight, illness, suspension, and lunatics, cards get fucked up majorly. They had a pretty shitty year. Expecting people to pay for cards that could fall apart or have no star power is asking a lot.

  16. In theory with the new deal, we’re looking at fights every two weeks or so. If someone is looking to get semi into it that would be the time. But like you said the gap is killer. You can’t get into a storyline or rivialry that will take 6-12 months to play out. Guys will talk shit, promote the fight and then two weeks before the fight someone will tear their ACL or some shit

People still call in to the cable company I work at to order WWE ppv’s lol

Sadly, the pillow fight stipulation would probably be the only way to make this AJ and Nak feud interesting

I haven't paid for a UFC ppv in like 3 years, I watch every single one

    Don't @ me

UFC still will have 12 ppvs, the free cards on ESPN will still be mostly unknown names with shitty build up.

  24. I haven’t bought one since 2009. Don’t feel bad.

Most likely. ESPN might put some pressure on them at first but it’ll transition into more of the same.

As someone who grew up a boxing fan I guess I'm just used to the gaps. It is a legitimate gripe though.
