Lol why is work like this?! This like 75 year old man whose wife died a few years ago was telling me about his life as a single man. He goes out and dances and karaokes which is a hilarious thought on its on. He was talking about the ladies he’s met and how one lady at a bar put her breast on his back. And I’m just sitting here thinking “god save me from this conversation.” He’s actually a really nice dude and funny but when old people start telling me about sex/dating I’m out! I also think he wasn’t flirting with me a little bit and I’m like oh god.

I worked at a retirement home for 4 years. I have spoken to people hours before they passed, knowing they were about to die, some of them were like family to me. Very powerful moments.
