Not far off considering I grew up 1/2 my life in a town smaller than the one @dadbolt is currently. So I can relate haha

I've come a long way in terms of eating tomatoes... used to order everything without them and pick them out... didn't even really like pico if it was too tomatoey. I essentially forced myself to like them. Now I love them on a BLT, burgers, in a caprese salad, I love cooking with them... I don't think I could handle biting into a tomato like an apple though.

 

Slicin' them up and putting a salt, pepper, a lil garlic and oregano on them is delicious.

 

Personally, no.

I'm sure it can be done though.
