By the way, I don't know if anyone caught it, but Warped (and now Kevin) said in their Instagram comments that Ventura and Mountain View are approaching capacity.

Today Kevnin said for Mountain View they can just move the gates to take a bigger portion of the parking lot, but Ventura has limited space so it may be a bit more difficult.

 

I’m extra stoked for this

 

I don't know why Kevin thinks putting a bunch of female acts on one stage for three dates makes up for having...4(?) on the whole tour...

 

By the way: Does anyone know what the setup is like at Warped in Wantagh? Which (if any) stages are in the ampitheater, and how far is it from the main area?

 

I went 2 years ago. No stage in the ampitheater and it was closed off. All the stages were in the parking lot and it was just under a mile walk from the main parking area. Probably the worst set up and area for any date. The monster stage bleed into the main stage and the small stages had bleed over from the main.

 

Oof. At least at my main home date the (free) parking lot just goes right up against the main gate.

 

If you have flexibility I would recommend scranton just under 3 hours away or holmdel 1 hour. Scranton is such a nice area probably top 2 best dates I have been to. Also random but wantagh didnt sell beer which is weird not seeing at a show.

 

Ah, nice. I wish I could make it to Scranton, But my options are limited to Saturdays a non-stop flight away from Minneapolis.

I’m at the blood drive thing for Warped, has anyone here done it before? What does the VIP thing get you?

 

It depends on the date. Some dates it just enters you in a sweepstake for VIP.

But VIP is backstage access (If you check in at the Music Saves Lives tent early morning) as well as photo pit access for everyone if I recall correctly

Does anyone else have a list of bands they want to meet at Warped?

I never go out of my way to meet bands instead of sets I want to go to. I usually just happen to run into members or come in right at the end of their signing/meet and greet. Like I met Levi from Miss May I in a line at a port-o-potty in 2015 lol.

I mean he was heading the other way to like their bus or a TEI workshop I think so I just bolted over real quick and told him he had a great set and got a photo so I don't draw too much attention to him. He was really nice about it. I realise the story sounds way more like we were both in line lol, but really I just gave up my end of the line spot to snap a pic really quick with him.

 

I FINALLY found a copy of No Pads, No Helmets by Simple Plan on vinyl, and I'm thinking about bringing the case to Warped to get it signed. Other than that, I'd love to meet The Maine, Less Than Jake, and Senses Fail.

 

Senses Fail are good guys for sure.

My top want to meet is Motionless in White. I'll probably be helping Twiztid out at the Detroit date, know their guys pretty well and have had lots of interaction with them themselves.

 

Motionless in White are such genuine, nice dudes. I’d love to meet them, Ice Nine Kills and Mychildren Mybride. But I prioritize watching sets over meeting bands, I always get star struck and nervous anyways

 

i just want to say hi to Michelle who is doing merch for broadsde and gina who is doing merch for with con i like them more then most band members lol and i want to say to a hi to a lot cuz they know me like sc kp rf movements broadside and more if i have time

 

pat from movements is doing a TEI workshop on songwriting now

 

actually in the announcement video they posted, Pat said something about a rotating member of the band, and I'm not sure if that means it'll just be one member of movements doing the workshop every day or if it'll be Pat plus a rotating member
