If I had to guess, I'd expect it to be released next month prior to their coheadlining tour and be coupled with their album announcement/pre-orders. Not only would it drive further interest for the tour right before it starts, but it'd also help space out the news. The Canadian shows don't seem to need help selling tickets, whereas some of the arena and amphitheatre shows do.

 

What I'm wondering is what the new merch will be on tour and in their merch direct store and when we will be able to see it.

 

I'll probably just get the Canadian Tour shirt. Represent!

Did you see them on the 2012 Canadian run? I got the tour themed shirt then too. It has the loonie on the front and the dates on the back, I love it.

 

I was lame and didn't get it but yes I saw them on that Canadian tour.

 

Fun to reminisce on past BN shows. Awhile back I looked here: Brand New Tour History from 2001 - 2016 - Brand New Past Tour Dates to see if there was some shows that I should of went to but I've done pretty good. Only one I wish there was more Canadian dates was when they toured with Thrice and mewithoutYou. But I did see Thrice eventually and will get to see mwY this year but yeah to see them all together would have been a real treat.

The best local radio station here played I am a nightmare on their fresh new spin show tonight. Every chance he got the host couldn't stop saying brand new Brand New. Was cool to hear them on the radio again. Apparently a bunch of listeners requested it. Cool to know they somewhat have a fanbase here.

Also I know exactly what you mean in regards to Cope. I love it for what it is, but at the same time, the entire album is like one steady wall of sound; there's no variety to it. So i can see the same criticism for I Am a Nightmare. That said, the bridge saves that song for me. Like whenever I listen to it I'm just so hyped for the bridge to come in the whole time, lol.

 

Also been saying "Mene" like meme. Oyy...Hahah.

 

I can't say "Mene" without cringing because it sounds like I'm recommending a song called "Meanie".

 

I should roll that R more. Haha.

 

I don't care if I am right or wrong, but I will ride by the pronunciation of "Meen" because of the same reason @crackedthesky pointed out.
