Did I miss why?

 

Brady and Gronk not at OTAs

 

Brady is continuing to skip voluntary OTAs which have normally been considered not voluntary in NE. Always had high attendance. Players like Alan Branch missing caused headlines. Now it's Brady and Gronk.

 

Damn, are they the voluntary ones? I'm guessing not.

 

Please make my day.

I don't think its that big of a deal, but it is kind of weird that a starting QB (who isn't in a contract dispute) isn't there IMO

 

It's incredibly weird because it's Brady. This is a guy who has built his whole thing on being the first in and the last out. Being so competitive he freaks out if he doesn't get snaps in the 4th pre-season. Being team team team the whole way. It's hard not to see an incredible change in his demeanor from the outside looking in.

 

Brady retires. Pats roll with Danny Etling.

If Danny Etling wins a single game I might stop watching football completely.

 

They're voluntary, so it's not a big deal.

 

Just once before Brady retires, I would like greatest 3rd down passer of the last 20 years Ben Roethlisberger to beat him in the playoffs on the way to a Super Bowl.

 

Then again Etling's badness is what got me Chark so I should thank him but he's also what got Matt Canada fired so fuck him.

 

Yes, but no. It's unusual. That's all I'm saying. He doesn't miss things often. He had a few years after the knee, but that's it. On spec, no it's not a big deal. But it's def noteworthy and continuing evidence of the tension brewing/brewed in foxboro. I 100% believe this stuff is real.

 

I also don't think people are going far enough back to identify the beginning of this feud. I think it 100% has to do with Deflategate.
