Every time I get Mexican food I tell myself I'll try something different but then I always have nachos.

 

Best thing at Chuy's imo, is their Rellenos, so good. Appreciate that they have vegetarian options which is difficult when eating tex-mex

 

Nachos are so tight. I've heard Chuy's has a free nacho bar during happy hour. @Colby Searcy can you deny or confirm?

 

I also go to other restaurants thinking I'll try something different but if they have mac and cheese I haven't tried before I get that. I need to try all variations of mac and cheese before I die.

 

For some reason there are a lot of really great Mexican places local to me, so I eat Mexican pretty often. I usually go with some sort of enchilada, burrito, or mole chicken

 

Its so hard not to get mac and cheese when its on a menu

 

What's a mole chicken?

 

Anyone like New Mexican cuisine? I'll be in Albuquerque next week and I can't wait to get me some red and green.

 

Mole is a fucking unbelievable sauce

 

Seriously. I even tell my wife "I'm getting this veggie burger" and then the server comes up "I'll take the mac and cheese"

Also it's disrespectful when they ask if you want the small or dinner serving. The dinner one. I always want the large one what the hell do you think this is.

This is true! The nacho bar is usually near the bar area, it's been a while since i've been during HH but I still see the bar when we do go regularly.

Alot of times it's spicy and sometimes places will use chocolate to sweeten it a bit

 

I'm at Pappadeaux because it's the only place I can go to that isn't fast food right now

Ormsby in Atlanta has some of the best food. It's pretty expensive but your table has a checkerboard on it and the beer selection is top notch. It's 2 story and there are a ton of games downstairs like bocce, pool, horseshoes, etc. I love onion rings and look at how big these bad boys were.

 

I think she finds it endearing bc I'm just an adult baby who needs his mac.

I've never seen it but I Googled it. The best course of action is to get some groceries and eat at home for a little bit.

I ate at a place called Cocina Azul when I was there. I think I had a chicken burrito with red sauce. The burrito was decent, but what really blew me away was the sopapilla. It was the first time I had it and it was delicious, especially with honey. I need to go back and try enchilladas somewhere so I can try both sauces.

 

I'm mainly just mad I rushed so much because I had to bring the kids to their mom's this morning and because of their mom's desire to always sleep in I had to cut it SO close to make it here and was in constant panic only to have the flight delayed once I got here hahaha
