Also, I remember thinking how their FOH engineer had her vocal chain nailed down tight.

Welp that settles it. Gotta find tickets when they’re here in October, ha.

As someone that doesn't like that many songs that have one line chorus', this is one of the main reasons why I like Never Say Die's chorus.

Never Say Die closing out the main set must be awesome!

Yeah, it worked so well. So much fun. Both closers worked incredibly well.

People are really into the new songs (the singles at least).

I'm certain that it has been mentioned in a few interviews even by it's title but it eludes me at the moment.

I wasn’t sure since the matt berninger feature but the song of his on the last record is so good. And Under The Tide goes off live

Martin has stated in a few interviews that it would've felt odd duet-ting with Lauren on what essentially is a break up song, so they asked Matt on a whim and within a day or two had sent them several different takes of his parts. Agreed on both accounts, combination of the vocalising in the chorus, the 4 to floor, and Martin's energy in that song just get the crowd going.

truly one of the great examples of elevating a mediocre song into an incredible live experience

Have you heard the album or are these the new tracks they played? Any of them that recapture the moodiness of the first album?

Just got back from the show. God’s Plan I think will satisfy the fans of bones, yea. Graffiti felt sorta like the poppier parts of EOE like empty threat sorta, and Forever is pure 80’s bubblegum pop.

They all sound great. 'Empty Threat' is my favourite off of EOE because of how self assured it sounds despite being the poppiest moment on the album. Any sort of 80's song/artist in particular as a reference point for 'Forever'

I am anxiously excited for the new album, have been one of my favourites bands since the tail-end of 2012. At least the new Now, Now is passing the time until Friday.

Empty Threat has been the clear highlight of EOE to me from first listen

Only songs from EOE cycle that come close for me are 'Bow Down' and 'Up In Arms'

While the end to 'Clearest Blue' is an album highlight, I've always seen it as 'We Sink' (pt 2) with Depeche Mode's 'Just Can't Get Enough' mixed in. 'Every Open Eye' was not really where I wanted them to go following the debut.
