I have the worst memory

 

Yeah, the 96 election/Olympics, Monica Lewinsky/Clinton, Columbine are all very clear memories for me. Don’t really remember the Simpson trial or OKC bombing though.

 

This is kind off odd to write out now that I think about it but the earliest memory I have is of either my sister or my mom changing my diaper, not sure which. It's like the vaguest notion of a memory but it's there, would have been at most two years old. After that it's just flashes of random shit until I was like 6 or 7 which is when I can start to recall decent chunks of time.

 

9/11, Reagan died, Elliot Smith suicide, Afghanistan, console wars, i can't take it anymore, "we didn't start the fire"

I don't remember Reagan dying but that's because I didn't care

I remember it because i remember my dad watching the funeral and saying "he was the only Republican I ever voted for and man did I fuck up."

I was wine drunk in A1 watching Trump get elected

Trump getting elected was one of the few moments that truly felt historical. I had just gotten off work and in order to prepare myself I walked to the closest bar and I was sitting at the counter and it was announced and this woman just started screaming. It was truly surreal.

 

I remember the Clinton impeachment because that was all over the news, the fact that that's the first historical thing I remember is wild, and I remember 9/11 of course never forget baby
I don't really have a lot of concrete childhood memories though

 

I met up with a friend to grab a slice of pizza before it closed at 11. Ate half of it, and then went back to my apartment and got shit faced.

 

I was at home watching it on TV because my daughter was with me. Got really sad thinking about how to tell her in the morning

 

I was very sad and went to sleep and saw he won in the middle of the night while I was peeing.
