I just want to know what Dan and Derek think of Matt wearing a fedora on stage.

 

I really don't think Matt is done with Trio. It's probably smart for Blink to take advantage of their resurgence and ride that wave for right now, so when the next round is done they can take a proper break again (which I honestly think will result in discussions with Thomas.)

 

Maybe, just maybe, Matt likes those Blink 182 paychecks.

 

Blink pays the bills, Alkaline Trio shows have to be minuscule in comparison when it comes to payout.

 

Would love to know what he's made with blink since he joined in 2016 versus what he's made with Trio since they started being a band.

 

It'd be hard to walk away from, that's for sure.

 

He actually has to pay Tom 20 bucks every time he sings one of his songs, so he's in the hole for now

 

I can't think of one aspect of their situations that is exactly the same aside from being in two bands lol

 

Blink doesn't just pay the bills. Blink buys the in-ground pool and third luxury car.

 

I'm kind of tired of people speaking for Matt and even the Trio as a whole. But, I will say it'd be nice if we got something more from Matt in terms of the future of the Trio.

 

I believe before Blink his net worth was about 3 million. I know it's definitely sky rocketed since.

 

Bingo. I think a statement from the band would be nice, even if it's a we're stepping back for awhile to let everyone focus on other projects but we will be back.

I think them remaining silent is fueling a lot of these fires and wild speculation.

 

Not holding my breath until I see them actually follow through.

 

Oh I know haha. I got excited when they rehearsed Adam's Song since Matt joined and never played that so yeah

 

I would be more excited if Travis didn't post something similar before the California tours started.

However looking at the list of songs a few caught my eye:

Would love to hear all of these songs live.

I REALLY hope they are planning on playing the rarer/barely played songs and not just teasing them for the hell of it.

 

Wonder how long their set will be. I know not to expect much.

 

What would make me the most excited are deep cuts from TOYPAJ. Apparently that's out of the question

Also, if their shows were as long as other band's of their size they could probably fit all of those in one show.

 

Exactly. I mean I don't need anything from Dan or Derek, I know how they feel. Hearing it from Matt is where it's important. I've told people before that Matt, Dan and Derek may only be able to share so much as well.

 

Is it wrong that I do not to have any desire to see Blink again ?

They truly might not even know themselves either but I just wish something was said. The more time that goes by without any activity from the band makes me more and more nervous about their future. I can't see how there's not hard feelings at this point.

I'd pay $50 just to see them play those 4

 

There are some songs on there that are laughable at the thought of them playing and there are some I think are locks if they do follow through with the “throwback” set.
