happiness is a warm gun but nice try. real talk though day in the life is great, there are great songs there, but it doesn't really reach the highs of any of their best, wouldn't even say it has consistency going for it. and it borders on hella cheesy a lot

breeders cover automatically makes me say happiness is a warm gun btw, big contributing factor bc I love both

I keep listening trying to figure out what exactly elevated it so highly for so many people but I'm definitely missing it. gonna go read up on it tho. I think I'd put it at the bottom of their post rubber soul work at this point

I put most everything after Rubber Soul in the same group, outside of White Album and Let It Be. I used to dislike Let It Be but its grown on me enormously
