I mean those two places arent chains. Capital Grills pretty good Ocean Prime isnt too great imo. And I know Texas/Dallas is a steakhouse destination, maybe THE destination for some. Or am I dreaming that up? Ive had a couple places in Manhattan years ago that round out steakhouse lists and they werent as good to me, again it was years ago I could find them on google.

THIS. haha. i am very fortunate to have worked in this world before. i would be in charge of insurance policies for those recently involved in large-scale accidents that affect their ability to work/livelihood, etc. never done anything quite like it but have worked as a supervisor and claims analyst so i've been somewhere adjacent.

I'd go rib cap > bone in rib eye > ribeye = bone in filet > filet. I honestly believe most professional chefs would agree with that order or something very close to it.

Those places look great. I always hear Peter Luger is the best in NY although I haven't been. Barclay Prime in Philly is insanely good. I think those chains are really dependent on the location, had incredible Ocean Prime and some not so good Ocean Prime same with Capital Grill, although Ruth's Chris sucks everywhere.
