If Bethesda did Fallout 3/New Vegas as one purchase in the same way they updated Skyrim, I'd be ALL over that

 

damn maybe i should of waited. i just rebought new vegas. i've never finished fallout 3 because it was honestly too spooky for me

 

Think we're going to get a Doom 2 tease at Bethesda's conference as well, 100%. Might be just cinematic but it's definitely going to be there.

It's for sure going to be a way, way more worthwhile conference than the total waste of time it was last year.

 

I really hope Starfield is real and blows me away. Need some good space RPGs now that there’s a Mass Effect sized hole.

Doom 2 will be my game of the century if they continue what they did in 2016 DOOM

 

Yeah I don't think a remaster of those games would really make sense now either. It could happen though, especially because, as has been said, the 10-year anniversary of F3 is coming up.

I don't really know what else Bethesda has up its sleeves as far as upcoming projects from their studios goes. Even though Starfield and Doom 2 technically haven't been announced, I wouldn't really consider seeing them a "surprise" considering we know they're coming; however I do think they'll have some actual surprises on hand for the show for sure just because we don't know what they have cooking.

 

Jim compared the trailer to Bulletstorm in how the gameplay kind of looks and I totally agree now that I've heard him say it.

 

Looks a lot like Serious Sam to me.

Apparently we should be seeing a new game pretty soon.

 

That Splinter Cell mission in GR:Wildlands is so fucking hard.

I'm not so sure about this being a guaranteed thing. There's been rumors for years that we may see the end of consoles sooner rather than later

 

I'd say it's a guarantee. I wouldn't want a new console before 2022 honestly but I'd guess they'll be sooner.

 

I'm sure there will be more consoles but I'm not expecting them to be as they are now

 

Order the Mega Man X collection. So stoked for that. Those games were my childhood.

 

This is the first I've heard about retiring consoles as a thing. What's the thinking behind it? All gaming moves to PC? Or consoles as we know them simply become more general entertainment units?

 

Early dev kits for next gen hardware have already been shown off to some developers. It’s definitely happening.

 

What does the end of consoles mean? Are they planning on more of a game streaming type of thing like Netflix?

 

I've only played the first one, but it's one of my favorite SNES games. I don't know what happened to my cartridge for it though.
