I want to believe the Browns will be good this year, but I haven't taken my Zoloft yet.

 

I finished All Or Nothing last weekend and it's amazing that Jason Garrett is somehow even worse of a coach than I originally thought?

I firmly believe the Dallas Cowboys are the ceiling for the most success you can have with a talented roster and a garbage coach

 

It amazes me that they didn't try to surround Dak with talent while he's on his rookie deal. Can't imagine how much worse they're going to be when he gets his first big contract.

 

What do you mean by this? We've drafted and/or picked up multiple offensive linemen and wide receivers the last two years.

 

In terms of receivers, you added Allen Hurns and Tavon Austin while losing Dez Bryant and Jason Witten.

That's like needing a kidney transplant and receiving a can of beans.

 

Yeah I'd say the Cowboys have a good level of talented players on offense and defense

Which makes it even more amazing how poorly they have to be coached to make those players look worse than they are

 

Dez and Witten are both average at best at this point in their careers. I love them to death, but they're not what they used to be.

Hurns should be a decent #2 receiver and Austin was changed to a running back. I expect us to use him like we did with Dunbar a few years ago.

Plus, Witten retired which wasn't our decision, so you can't put that on the team.

 

I think the main reason the Jets won’t be bottom 3 is because Bowles is a good coach

 

And call me crazy but I say the exact same thing about the Raiders. Gruden is gonna compete.

I agree, Bowles gets so much shit and I don't get it. He's good.

 

Colts, for one. Luck coming back would already be a surprise to me. Let alone being the same player.

Well, besides the offensive linemen, since you guys have arguably the best one in the league. But besides that, I just don't see the Boys making any big moves to bolster their roster while Daks cheap. I could be wrong, just an observation.

 

Our line was overall a bit above average last year due to injuries to multiple players and having awful depth. We were very good at run-blocking, but only average in pass-blocking.

 

Vander Esch was a boring pick for Dallas but it made perfect sense, LB depth will help tremendously with DLaw breaking out, and the secondary is young and has potential

 

Don't get me wrong, I love our line and I think they'll be top five again this season, but they were not as good as people made them out to be last year.
