any of you guys stream on twitch at all? i've thought about it for a while ever since the jtv days but i get anxious about all the doxxing and toxic communities. probably will only stream to chit chat with my friends but i've been considering it

it seems like microsoft sent out state of decay 2 to a bunch of streamers and dang the gameplay looks really good compared to the last one.

Oh my God.

 

Imagine a Fallout spinoff where it’s less of an RPG, and more akin to a sim city/animal crossing game!? A la your the mayor of Little Lamplight or the general of a Super Mutant settlement! I don’t see a point in doing a spinoff it’s just another Fallout game with a different name.

 

I'm in.

 

Hm, doesn't look like it'll be a looter but it does look very, very fun. Will definitely be looking forward to learning more about this at Bethesda's E3 conference.

Also, I guess this game launching in the fall means that the rumors of a Fallout spinoff for this year are probably not going to wind up being true? Would be weird for them to release two post-apocalyptic games in a single fall, unless the Fallout spinoff isn't an FPS.

 

yup! i recently became a twitch affiliate so people can subcribe and stuff if they have a free twitch prime sub (or they can pay but i don't think that i'm worth that haha). i've been streaming my God of War playthrough recently, just got back into it last night after a two week mental health break: Twitch

 

I could see Bethesda remastering Fallout 3 for its ten year coming up in October.

Someone teased an announcement from Bethesda that would make people “fall out of their seats”

 

Bethesda is making half life 3 is all I got out of that post then.

I don't even know what could make me do that. Unless they're talking about how amazing Starfield looks? Like it's going to look so good it'll make us fall out of our seats? I feel like that's the only explanation I can come up with.

At this point I'm thinking Elder Scrolls 6 has a good chance to be a launch title for the next generation of consoles so it's definitely not going to be that. And it's not going to be a new mainline Fallout game. So an amazing new IP seems like the best bet, which points to Starfield.

 

If we got a new vegas to Fallout 4 I'd be pretty stoked.

There's 100% going to be a new console generation but it's not coming until 2019 at the earliest, although 2020 is way more likely. I definitely don't mind the longer console generations compared to how they used to be (7 years now instead of 5) though. Playing a game like God of War on PS4 Pro makes me very much ok with the wait.
