I enjoy all the pre release singles, so I definitely got high hopes for this.

Also surprised that Never Say Die is the least streamed song of the 4, that's my favorite!

 

Jeez, that Toronto show sold out instantly. 10 minutes of clicking "search again" and I finally secured some tickets lol

No luck for me so far, spending the rest of the day at work refreshing. They are already $85 on stubhub.

Edit: aaaaand it’s officially sold out except for Indie88 contests. I entered it at least.

 

Won tix for Toronto! It’s their first show in quite a while too, first one with their drummer I think.

It'll be tough but I'm gonna try real hard to get tickets on Friday.

 

I'm going to try and order tickets, but I have jury duty. We'll see how it goes.

Haven't really listened to anything other than the first single Get Out, so I'm excited to fully dive into the album next week. High hopes.

The chorus drop sounds so much cooler there. Still love that song. Haven’t really listened much to the others which is for the best really, I always end up playing out singles before the albums drop and it kinda ruins the experience. I’m so damn excited to hear this.

 

Thought that performance was pretty poor IMO. Not much about this album has me excited really

 

I love Lauren to death, but I don't think I've ever watched a live performance of hers and thought, "wow, that was great". Usually her timing sort of bothers me, but here it was sort of all over the place.

I need to actually go see them one day, because I'm sure nerves about being on TV/live recorded play into my admittedly nitpicky complaints above.

 

that performance felt kinda awkward. And they definitely needed to add a little reverb to her mic.

Do love that they have a drummer now, though.

 

I didn't realize until today, and now I LOVE it, that Lauren sings "Never, never, never, ever. Never, ever, ever, say die." I thought previously they were ALL "never" but listening closer to the cadence of how many nevers and evers, it's really fucking cool

 

Miracle is growing on me

 

She blew me away live both times I’ve seen them.

 

I can totally attest that their live shows are WAAAYYY better than their televised performances, especially on the last album cycle

 

I'm sure she gets nervous plus maybe it's bad acoustics like SNL

 

Yea she crushed live the two times I saw them during the EOE cycle.
