It really doesn't rain as much as people think, I looked it up in comparison to how much it rains here and its not a big difference at all. #bringseattleabowl

James Sample refusing to give Ramsey 23 as if this isn't going to be the most relevant part of his career.

You mean to tell me there isn't 500 days in a year? What am I going to tell my family?

But seriously, I think people just run with the narrative of Seattle being depressing and rainy year round when it's just not true although I wish it was. I like that weather.

Regardless, a Super Bowl in Seattle would be a hard sell for various reasons.

Part of it being that the weather in early february in Seattle is usually garbage. Same reason it was a hard sell in NY/NJ. Seattle has the infrastructure, and good enough public transit, to make it work. Far more so than Pittsburgh or a few other non-domed cities that have tried to throw in their name.

But we'll be reminded at the Minnesota SB why they dont host the game in cold weather cities often. Who wants to spend a week in snow, shitty weather when you could be in 80 degree weather in Arizona or Miami

Minnesota and Indy are the two places that arent southern/coastal that will host it for the next 20 years. And even then, that'll be every 7 years or so.

They should just let Atlanta host it in the the new badass origami dome every year.

At least food is dirt cheap there.

I've been to Seattle twice and both weeks I was there, hardly a cloud even in the sky. Granted, both times were in the summer which is the dry season, but it certainly gets well over exaggerated like people in Seattle don't know what a nice day is.

If football playoffs were in August Seattle would be the place for them. A breezy 80 degrees is much better than the sticky heat everywhere else.

    Repaired

He veered on the safe side and still should be back by training camp. Best possible outcome.

oh man, looking at the Steelers schedule, because we play the AFC East and NFC East as our out of division games, the furthest west the Steelers play an away game is Indy. Only 2 away games (IND, MIA) where a plane is neccessary (could drive to CLE/CIN/PHI/WAS/BAL/BUF)

and here Miami is, making the longest possible trip for an NFL team, playing @Seattle week 1 then flying back across the country to play New England week 2

That's ridiculously long but I think technically Colts going from Indy to London is longer

Then again they also get a bye after I believe

ah yea, I just mean games in the US...forgot about the London crap games

and no, the Colts don't have a BYE after their London game. they apparently requested not to.

im fascinated to find out what he did that teams dont even want him. Like, it costs maybe $20-30k til Week 1...he's got NFL experience...must be a real pain in the ass for needy teams to not come calling

Awhile back I posted a link to Riddick saying that he might have some physical issues or something like that. It was pretty vague though. Also possible is that he thinks hes as good as this thread does and is a diva because of it.
