The Giants just swept the Padres for the third time this year. They are 9-0 against the Padres. Johnny Cueto alone has thrown three complete games, including two shutouts, against the Padres. Brandon Crawford has 12 of his 27 RBIs against the Padres. Today, they walked off against the Padres. They are now 13 for their last 14, partially because they played the Padres six times in the past week and a half.

Why is Deadspin going under? I used to like them but they've become why to preachy lately. Basically just trash things to be cool. Stopped reading it before the whole Cardinals thing. As a fan I find it annoying but I'm sure if they did it to mid 2000s Res Sox when they were super annoying I would have gotten a kick out of it.

More of a blessing than a curse

 

I guess they just don't want to subject me to all of the fuckery that's been going on this season.

 

I wasted an entire night last night watching this stupid fucking team. Like 4+ hours of my life I can never get back... only for them to lose it in such a pitiful fashion in 13 innings. They are infuriating. The lineup, bench, bullpen... it is all seriously AA caliber. The young starters in the rotation have been pretty enjoyable to watch as of late, but other than that... this team is dead to me.

 

Old man David Ross with his 100th career HR! A no doubter. Loved that smile as he ran the bases. He's so fucking awesome.

 

And of course he bumps dicks with almost everyone in the dugout. I love this team haha.

 

Did I hear this correctly..the Dodgers brought up a 19 yr old as their starting pitcher tonight?
