Nice to see Carvalhal has fucked over two clubs in one season.

Swansea were pretty much stuffed whoever took charge. Never really replaced Ashley Williams and they lack goal scorers.

Glad Chelsea are in the EL because now it will hopefully become clear to those in charge of the club that their decisions over the past 12-18 months regarding transfers, and their refusal to adequately support a manager that was literally 2 points off equaling the clubs best ever PL points tally in his first season, have sent the club backwards.

Can't wait for the US media to be completely baffled by his accent.

It’ll take a lot of hard work to surpass the achievements made by his younger brother, former NYRB and MLS legend, John Rooney.

  7. It sounds like Spurs are glad to put this year behind them. Lloris and Poch talked about playing “away from home” for an entire season. Potentially finishing 3rd after having to play in Wembley all season is a good result, despite the poor performances of the last few weeks.

Poch also said starting next season finishing in the top 4 is no longer enough. He said he expects trophies. This is a different attitude than he’s shown in the past. Poch has always downplayed the trophy banter and asked for panetience. Now he’s putting the pressure on.

  8. Is it possible Real sign Neymar and Salah in the summer? They can probably make decent money from Bale and Benzema. But it’d still be super expensive.

Neymar - Ronaldo - Salah would be unfair.

This is dreadful stuff from United. Crying out for a striker to just sit on the shoulder of their defence, to be in the box. Everyone is dropping deep.

That's one of the most obvious red cards that's ever existed. Obviously he's not been sent off.

Yeah, that's not going to happen. Way too expensive and he also seems a little past it.

I doubt Bayern would buy Bale, they've got much better players that work with the team. I think he'll be at Man Utd or somewhere in EPL.

    He's good at that.

    I'm sorry I had to.

Brek Shea, 85th minute, tie game

He has a WIDE OPEN net. Instead of just tapping it in, he trips over the ball and doesn't get a shot off.

That felt like a parody of Brek Shea. Absolutely unreal.

    Houston's record sits at 3-3-3.

Those three draws are blown leads in the 97th, 85th, and 94th minute.
    I fucking hate this team.

Apologies if this has already been shared, but if there are any podcast fans in here Gimlet Media have a new podcast going for the run up to the world cup. Each episode is about a famous game or moment in world cup/football history. It's called We Came to Win. First episode is "How the 1990 World Cup Saved English Soccer".

  18. Unreal what’s happening right now. Couldn’t even wait the last two minutes to start the bullshit. But in the end, not very surprised at this reaction. I don’t want the stream to end because I can’t look away, haha.

Intriguing game for Boro tonight. Get a good result and I think they're favourites to go up, given Fulham's immediate form. Really hope they do it, would be great for the area.

Watches most of that game. Given that Boro were at home, they were really poor.

Yeah, they were shocking. Villa did a great job of locking down Traore, and without him Boro offered nothing. Can't see them getting a result at Villa eithee unfortunately.

  22. I have a feeling Villa is moving up

Really hope Snodgrass and Villa bottle it and he’s playing the championship again next season. There’s very few more detestable characters in English football.

  24. I’m rooting for Fulham to make it. Even if it means Sessegnon stays there.

Going to see Black Panther instead of sitting and hoping for a ten goal differential miracle swing seems like a good use of time today.

Kinda sad two of my three European teams are probably going down this season.
