Am I the only one that thinks the EP version of Sex sounds way better than the album version? Maybe its a bit more muddled, but I think it hits much harder. Like I replaced the album version with the EP version in my iTunes.

Somebody posted it on reddit and claims it’s a new song, with just the voice pitched higher than the original. The music sounds like them, but not the voice even when pitched

That doesn't sound like his writing style at all.

 

I’m just the messenger :( yeah I know. It was more or less just the background synth/ambient sounds that sound just like them, but anyone could’ve made that. The chorus sounds a little too mainstream for them, but who knows what style we are going to get

 

The music sounds like a 15 year old trying to mimic synthy shit, badly at best.

Music For Cars because it has my favorite 1975 song (Me), but I could also go IV on any given day.

 

I’m pretty sure the pre-chorus to Girls is the catchiest thing I’ve ever heard.

I actually feel like I’m the only person in the world that thinks the superior version made the album.

 

How on earth could anyone think for a second that song is The 1975? Not even confusable with Matty’s voice... and the production value is not at all up to par.

 

I felt that way at first only cause I was used to the EP version. But going back to it now, I definitely think they made the right choice.

I've been listening to the live album a lot and I've decided i'd pay a good amount for a copy on vinyl.

 

Apologies, I perhaps should have said 'not fully engaged' rather than 'disengaged'.

I also get that 'active' fans will stream the music when it's released, but I wasn't really referring to the music more the lengthy tease process.

 

Yeah live album on vinyl would have been very nice. Maybe they'll do something else live on vinyl
