It was a dumb call by the refs. Denying that is being silly.

Good teams overcome bad calls, so the blame for the loss still rests on the Lions, but it was a stupid fuck up by the refs.

I don't agree that it was a dumb call, but regardless, the rest of your comment is on point. They had multiple opportunities to blow us out. They were leading 20-7 at one point in the third quarter and then completely choked.

 

It's a shame Jason posted that tweet earlier, otherwise this would be a the best self-burn in the thread.

 

I'm not sure which tweet you're referring to, but my comment is to show how dumb it is that people think the Cowboys have the refs in their pocket.

 

Also not being able to a win a game does not absolve someone of wrong-doing. It's the Jags fault they lost to the Patriots but that does not excuse the refs blatantly favoring them the entire game including blowing a play dead that would've resulted in a touchdown.

 

That's what you think your comment is but really it just says the Cowboys are REAL bad haha

 

We've been average for 20+ years, not bad. We've had some all time great players, but horrible coaching and practically zero depth has led to being mediocre overall in that time period.

 

I've never seen someone be thankful for being average instead of bad but there's always a first
