Went to see if there was any news and saw this. Lol. Nerds of a feather.

 

They sent out an INSANE questionnaire.

-Helmets with no face guards so that facial expressions can be seen
-No time outs
-no kick offs
-20 second play clock
-no huddles
-running clock that only stops during possession change
-"warp speed football reinvented"

Whats the worst that could happen though? Not like their eyes could be gauged out or anything like that. Why are face masks even a thing? Lets take them out of high school football too

 

because getting hit in the face really hard sucks a bunch. not all bad injuries are grisly as something like a consussion. think of how often things like orbital bone fractures happen in wrestling. that kind of recovery time during a 16 week season is something any team would want to avoid

Eyes are gauged in piles with facemasks. That's not a concern.

If McMahon wants a different game, he should take the pads completely off and just play tackle football that way. Maybe wear a little bit of padding around the dome like some rugby players do. If they are playing real 11v11 football, then wear the same exact equipment as every other league.

His son is in terrible shape from the hits he's taken and now he is leading a league that wants to make the game more dangerous. Makes sense.

 

They are asking what people want via twitter now. lol

-Would you be interested in hearing the communication between coaches, QBs or defensive captains during XFL games?

-If you were the XFL Commissioner, what would you do to speed up the game?

-If you were the Commissioner, what overtime system would you put into place for the kick-off of the XFL in 2020?

-If you were the XFL Commissioner, what rules would you institute for extra point attempts?

 

There will be no nicknames on the backs of jerseys.
