Replade that first band with Rufus Wainwright and you truly have a great festival.

    Sorry not sorry.

Suicidal Tendencies is playing their first album at the House of Vans in New York. It is that album's 35th anniversary. That is definitely something I could see happening at Riot Fest too.

On a side note, I highly suggest the House of Vans shows. I went to the Larry Arms / D4 one last year and not only was the show free, but they also gave us free beer.

I could definitely see Suicidal Tendencies doing that as one of the album plays. Similarly, I know Bad Religion is doing Suffer on the Punk in Drublic tour... So I can see them being on Riot Fest and doing that as an album as well.

That Lawrence Arms/Dillinger Four show last year sounded like so much fun! One of my friends went and said it was a blast... For a few years, Converse did something similar here in Boston with some pretty crazy bands/line-ups (Fucked Up and the Menzingers, the Descendents, the Replacements and Dinosaur Jr.) and I really miss that going down. Haha.

Jesus & Mary Chain are opening for Nine Inch Nails in Phoenix the same weekend, as well as have a Chicago date for the tour, so they're out.

The Riot Fest Twitter Guy just confirmed on Reddit that it'll be at Douglas Park again this year. I know there was some question about it early on (not really here, so much) but... Thought it was worth mentioning.

Thank Gooooood. I was anxious about that. I've enjoyed it both years I've gone, and the venue's a big part of it.

Douglas Park feels like it's a much better fit for a festival of this sort. At Humboldt, that big pond and such always seemed to screw things up. At Douglas they just have a wide swath of open space.

Then again, shrinking it down some also helped a bit I'm sure. That first year at Humboldt Park the set-up was perfect for the number of stages (4) and the festival size, in my opinion... But it grew pretty quickly from there.

Yea definitely was already obvious, but this confirms there's no way Andrew WK plays, there's no way he would go that far out of his way between Minneapolis and Des Moines. Those are both slightly West of Illinois and I just don't see him going out of his way to show up, especially when he played last year.

Well, we know Andrew W.K. is playing on either Saturday or Sunday. Probably Sunday. There's three empty days between those tour dates.

I want the second wave announcement this year to be just Andrew W.K., GWAR, and Taking Back Sunday.

I want Taking Back Sunday to play a GWAR set, Andrew W.K. to play a Taking Back Sunday set, and GWAR to play a Andrew W.K. set.

OR, Taking Back Sunday to play a Andrew W.K. set, GWAR to play a Taking Back Sunday set, and Andrew W.K. to play a GWAR set

The North Coast line-up drops on Tuesday. That's the 15th. Looking at past Riot Fest line-up announcements...

    May 15th, 2012 (Tuesday)
    May 16th, 2013 (Thursday)
    May 13th, 2014 (Tuesday)
    May 27th, 2015 (Wednesday)
    May 18th, 2016 (Wednesday)
    April 19th, 2017 (Wednesday)

North Coast usually drops in late April, so they're a bit late this year... If we get it next week it's going to be sometime after Tuesday. I'm guessing Thursday.

So what you're saying is, this practically does or doesn't confirm Limp Bizkit?
