Digital Sales are getting much better and competing with physical sales. Amazon has some pretty insane digital codes on sale pretty regularly now.

How do you do this? Didn't know there was such a thing honestly.

    Unless you mean like EBay

    Torbjorn & Symmetra.

You can trade in used games to Amazon too, usually you'll get a slightly better deal than with GameStop.

I definitely buy things digitally but only if physical isn't an option at all or its on sale for a really good price. I think it's ridiculous that games cost the same price digitally as physical but maybe that's just me.

Not eBay, but we have an app/website in Canada called Kijiji that is just a free classifieds service that is very popular. I sell almost everything I want to get rid of on there, pretty handy.

It's super easy to sell stuff on amazon. Also craigslist if you don't mind having to weed out scammers/shady people. Sold my 3DS on there and got way more than I would have anywhere else

Interesting that sounds really cool! Not aware of anything similar here in the US besides like Craigslist or something.

A great app that I use that actually has a fairly decent trade in is Declutter. I will use it if nobody is interested in the games I have. I think Jason mentioned it in one of the earlier podcasts.

It's essentially a less cluttered, more streamlined version of Craiglist. We have Craigslist up here too, but nobody I know really ever uses it.

There is this local game store that constantly promotes on Facebook how they will buy used and broken games.

They post a picture of old games or broken ones in front of like stacks of $100 bills and they put "come sell and you could get big."

People constantly write in the comments "they only take broken games for a cent and used games for a $1 so they are lying."

The store always tries to play it off by saying "it's a marketing tool to attract people with $100 bills. How do you people not get it?"

    That place is the worst.

  13. btw @Dirty Sanchez saw you invited me to OW yesterday, I wasn't actually home at the time so idk why it showed me as playing, maybe it keeps running even in rest mode? Or my girlfriend might have been watching Netflix with OW running in the background? Either way just wanted you to know I wasn't ignoring you haha, I'll def invite you if I'm in a group and see you online.

With gamestop they have special deals for new games from time to time that you need to watch out for. I got The Division for only $35 the week of release because of two games I traded in that were eligible for that. I'm also a pro member. So I receive game informer every month, as well as extra credit and discounts. I also get a coupon the month of my birthday, and cause I usually shop there for games I get a $5 coupon often thanks to the points on my account. I'm OK with it. They've done a lot better in the last year.

I completely agree. You would think with the lack of a physical box and the over head of a brick and mortar, that digital games would be substantially cheaper.

there was one time during the open beta where i got crazy heals and at the end of the game, someone else on my team was like "that play of the game was bullshit, should have been Mercy's heals imo" and i was like omg thank u:verysad:

  17. I got my first PotG post-launch as Mercy with a quad-resurrect, was so surprised because I never see healers get it. Was very satisfying though.

I would totally go full digital if it cost the same as physical. Maybe it's just in the UK, but digital costs at least £10-£15 more here, at least on the PlayStation Store. Why would I do that?

That's absurd, don't understand for the life of me how that even makes sense really. In the US digital and physical start out the same price typically

    Few more things on Overwatch:
-Can't get over how good it looks, it's like playing a pixar movie.

-I love that the only unlocks are cosmetic and come in the form of little perks of leveling up. Especially thinking on the atrocious system Battlefront had like ok grind countless hours so you can play as a Twi'lek.

This is my first Blizzard game outside of a few Hearthstone rounds, and just the level of care in pretty much every aspect is super commendable.

How does the color coded go for skins? I'm assuming purple is probably the rare ones?

    I think it goes blue>purple>orange
