Has anyone watched lost in space?

 

Yes. Its...fine. That's really the only way to describe it.

 

Watched the first episode. Was hooked after the first 10 mins. Lost me by the end.

 

I finished it yesterday, it’s really really good.

I still can’t believe all of those actually happened, feels like a plot for a 5 season TV show in the vein of Breaking Bad.

 

My old teacher in college used to teach about that cult and now she's (jokingly) irritated that everyone is already gonna know the deets of her cool fun lesson - cause it always got students engaged not cause cults are a cool fun thing lol

 

Thanks to everyone who gave suggestions on the best coming of age shows. I honestly haven't watched most of the ones I'm listing, but ranking these is going to suck haha.

 

S2 starting in a couple weeks.

Loved Kid Gorgeous.

Last Sunday I was tricked into going to church so that last bit really resonated with me haha.

 

Absolutely love Mulaney, but his latest special is probably his worst

 

All three recent Mulaney specials are hilarious imo, but New In Town is my personal fav.

 

Going to wait to watch Kid Gorgeous until I can watch it with some friends, but New in Town is definitely his best and will probably remain my favorite

 

Comeback Kid > New In Town >>> Kid Gorgrous

Idk. Parts of Comeback Kid didn’t match the highs of NiT, but I also was dying during parts of Kid Gorgeous.

 

The comeback kid is prob my fave. It was new in town for a while but then I got on a comeback kid kick recently. I enjoy kid gorgeous and have already watched it a handful of times but while I found it consistently enjoyable it had fewer highs for me. But I have already referenced the college bits like 5 times irl lol


I've been chatting up mulaney for a few years and nobody rly cared or checked him out based on my hype, but this special has seemingly made him pop up on more radars cause my friends and family who never watched him before are talking to me about kid gorgeous so that's awesome

 

Haven't watched Kid Gorgeous yet but I'm pretty sure New in Town is one of the funniest specials ever

 

Anyone checking out the S4 remix of Arrested Development? It’s narration heavy which is my least favorite version of Arrested Development, but it’s better than the old S4 so far, which was so bad (but good-in-theory) that I don’t remember much of the plot. Pumped to keep going.

 

I like Kid Gorgeous more than Comeback Kid

 

I'm a little skeptical, but I'm also interested to see where they take this. I liked S1.

 

A second season of 13 Reasons Why always sounded like a bad idea and that trailer does not fill me with hope. Looks ridiculous and I really hate the 'dead passenger' trope where a dead character hangs around to haunt the main character and go "Remember me? I'm dead now"

 

Yeah, I'm going to give it a shot, but my hopes aren't high.

 

This but with the exception of An American Werewolf in London

 

i quite enjoyed s1, here for it

 

I really liked season one for what it was and I loved the two main leads. I'd love more Katherine Langford even if she's "dead" she's quiet charming, even if a bad American accent. And I'm honestly incredibly interested to see what they do with Miles Heizer's character. Definitely here for it.
