    Fun must be always. Prestigious

the only thing that should happen in the afc West is Jon gruden never makes the playoffs in his million year deal

    The rivalry is back on

    Chargers
Win: their defense carries them to a division title and/or all the weapons break out and Rivers has his best supporting cast in awhile
Lose: the WRs get hurt again, the defense is good but not great, and Rivers can’t do it alone

    Raiders
Win: Gruden helps Carr be more like rookie year Carr than last year’s Carr, the creaky veterans hold up for one season until that team is in a terrible place
Lose: the creaky veterans don’t hold up for one season and that team is in a terrible place

    Chiefs
Win: the drop-off from Smith to Mahomes is either non-existent or minimal, and the crazy assortment of playmakers make this one of the most fun offenses in the league
Lose: the defense looks old and Watkins/Kelce can’t stay on the field

    Broncos
Win: Case Keenum is good enough to bring them to the point where their defense can carry the team
Lose: any normal case or worst case scenario

  8. Keenum will have Denver fighting for the division title. Last year wasn’t a fluke for him. I think he’s good.

I love Case Keenum more than Case Keenum loves Case Keenum. I hate Denver but damn I hope he wins there.

It’s easy for me to say it.

It’s May and you’re saying they are going to win the AFC. The entire conference.

OAK, KC, and DEN could compete for a playoff spot. The AFC West will beat itself up.

tbh i don't think the Raiders will be that bad. John Gruden has been very John Gruden with his player selections for sure... but I still maintain that he's a good coach and knows what he's doing. I don't take him very seriously as an announcer either but he's back doing what he's good at.

I think the Chargers are the best roster in the division, for the first time since 2006/2007 honestly, but Rivers is unlucky enough to still not win it

Yea it's May and I could say that right now based on the rosters.

Also I'm not sure how I feel about Vance Joseph, that's another reason I'm not crazy about Denver.

Disagree by now. This was true before but their young players are all developing great and their older players are earning their contracts.

Gruden is a motivator. He often used to win with vets from other teams. Did it in TB AND OAK back in the day. It's a different NFL now though.

Was only a matter of time before the Chiefs turned into an offensive team under Reid. However, I think their QB is too young and inexperienced to take all those playmakers and make their offense strong and consistent. Chiefs are in a weird twilight. If they win the division, they did it with big plays and with 30 carries a game to Kareem Hunt.

I believe in Denver the least right now. I like Case Keenum more than most and I like Elway's decisions lately but they are rebuilding for sure.

Still crazy to me Vance is a HC

I didn’t like his stint as a DB coach here

Oakland will be fine for a season or two then that roster could really start to fall apart if he keeps signing these aging veterans.

I really hated their draft but we’ll see how it looks a few years from now.

This something I could very well be way off on, but I think Patrick Mahomes is going to stink.

The only reason I don't think that is because it was such a huge reach to me that there must be something I don't know. Does that make sense?

Andy Reid is a bit of a QB whisperer so we'll see. I'm still kinda shocked they didn't just take Deshaun Watson.

Vance Joseph is the reason the Broncos won't win anything
His should have been fired in the offseason/never hired in the first place

Plus he is a sexual abuser

Kansas City put together a perfect blueprint to build around a potential franchise quarterback, but something just tells me that Andy Reid is going to try to get too much out of Mahomes and his unique skillset.

There's a lot of potential for big plays within that offense, but we could also see a lot of three and outs and plenty of turnovers.
