    It doesn't make much sense.

Ozy trained Superman growing up? He was known as Dr. Oz.
    Rorschach is The Question.

I don't know how they fit into this universe or why they would have been implanted in there.

Just all seems so strange to me. I thought they were trying to unconvolute things not make them worse.

As someone who isn't into DC should I give rebirth a chance? All I've ever read from DC was like the first 15-20 issues of different Bat family books during New 52

I'd say if you're mainly interested in the Bat family? Yes absolutely.

Wonder Woman seem like it'll be great and some of the other lesser known titles seem like they'll be decent.

I think some of the new stuff looks good. If there are any characters and/or creators that interest you, give the first issue(s) a shot. I know I'll be reading a few of 'em.

    beautiful and chequered, the end

My biggest problem with this "reveal" is that it seems Geoff John's is criticizing Watchmen for "ruining" the DC universe by turning every thing dark. When in reality it was him, Dan Didio and co. who were the ones spending years trying to ape the tone of Watchmen and thus ruining it. There seems to be no accountability. They are selling it as "we are fixing the DC Universe" when they were the ones who ruined it in the first place, comes off completely disingenuous.

I still have to finish Batman and Batgirl from New 52 before I start thinking about a Rebirth.

I assume anything like that they don't have to get permission for seeing as it's on their platform.

Does anyone know if there is a digital service where I can buy Rebirth at midnight?

I just used the iBooks store on my Mac. I saw that Amazon had a Kindle version as well.

Yeah, it's not a reboot, but the continuity makes zero sense.

Just finished reading DC Rebirth. I liked it quite a bit. The whole thing read much closer to the DCU that I would prefer than what the Nu52 offered.

Thankfully, I wasn't spoiled so I got to experience the "twist / reveal" fresh, which was pretty cool. Excited for the new books.

I read that issue as well. It seems...implausible to say the least. I am sure it will be some red herring of sorts. Of course, I also was certain the time travelling x-men would be gone by issue 18 (or maybe I just hoped that they would?). So what the hell do I know?

I normally don't grab single issues, but thinking of getting Rebirth #1 just to see what all will be going on with that.

I don't really mess with comics, but I saw a bunch of tweets about something with Cap and quickly found the cause. Having not read it, I can't really have an opinion on it that's worth anything. But it seems like it's something that will be revealed to be a ruse of some sort later on.

It's only 2.99 for around 80 pages. If you are at all curious, it is a great value.

Yeah that's what I figured. I have about another hour before my LCS is even open but will definitely stop by.

And the main story is actually pretty moving, IMO. Johns has always had an affinity for certain characters and it shows.
