I think it's perfect for the tour, but somehow, I don't think we will get it. I have been hoping for it, too!

I mean, there are a few Billy wants to potentially play from that setlist he shared that I feel like we could do without, such as the the Landslide cover (It's been played every tour recently almost since 2015), and make room for others like HMM.

 

I think my favorite thing about the Pumpkins is the way they rearrange their songs for live shows. I cannot wait to see what they do for these arena shows. I hope they go Gigantic with three guitars.

 

Yeah, Last time I saw them play that it was kind of a train wreck. I could totally do without that one

 

Really! I loved it on the End Times tour, but it's not a need for these special 30 year shows, when they have such a large discography to choose from. It would be a missed opportunity to pull out older tracks that haven't been played in a while, or ever.

Billy played this on his solo tour last fall and man when I saw the rest of the set list too I was bummmmed lol

I think Age might be my favourite Pumpkins song because I have so many memories attached to it. It’s certainly up there in my top 5 at the very least.

 

So do we actually think we’re getting new music this month like Billy promised? Based on how things usually go with this band I’m guessing no, sadly

Holy shit, Metric has been announced as the tour opener.
This is amazing!

 

Billy says select dates, but SP and Metric posts make it sound like the whole tour.

I'd rather no opener, but I'm fine with a Canadian band, since I live there, and all!

For the amount of money I spent on these tickets, I'd be hella pissed if we didn't get a great supporting act.

I just wanted it so we could have more Pumpkin stage time, but I haven't checked out Metric in years. Don't think they're my thing, but maybe their performance will surprise me.
