Travis often has interesting ideas but they’re so clearly derivative of a handful of artists that came before him and that diminishes my enjoyment of his music a lot

the Francis album I listened to was the worst album I listened through entirely the last several years

 

I saw him live and was just very underwhelmed

And then later he came out and danced with Chance. He can definitely dance.

 

He can absolutely not sing live. It's pretty rough.

Francis has 3 good songs. 2 of them feature Justin Vernon and the other features Chance.

At Eaux Claires he does a "dance lesson" set and it's always really fun so there's that.

 

Everytime I hear a Francis track I think it's Bon Iver

 

I was told I was an idiot when I said Francis wasn’t anything special a few years back. Oh well.
