the moment Jamie said tour wouldn't begin until October and there weren't going to do any kind of warm-up run, it made June 1 seem like a pretty far-fetched date to me at least. There was no way I could see them sitting on the album for 4/5 months before tour began. My only salvation was how quick Jason was to dismiss the idea of a countdown for anything other than the album to be absurd (assuming he's heard part and/or all of it)... but I still think it's absolutely something this band would do. They'll view the countdown as marking the beginning of the era -- the posters, etc are just teasing what that era is. I still don't think we see this until late August / early September. I'd love to be wrong on the 1st...

I stand by my it would be massssivly stupid to countdown and start the hype over a single, like turn people against the band stupid.

 

would be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed but I wish they waited a bit longer cause I feel like it’s gonna be a dry spell until June 1st after all that initial hype. i mean again, i HOPE i’m wrong?

 

the wikipedia page for MFC describes it as "the thirdcoming album"

someone doesn't know what the word 'forthcoming' actually means

 

they keep linking to the website though every so often which makes me think they want us to keep an eye on it....

I've long thought the EP was going to come later this year with the tour. Maybe they're mixing it up.
