If we get a new song by this weekend I'm extremely hyped. Awaken My Love is still incredible, I wonder how he's gonna progress from that.

OMG new music this weekend?
This might be the first time in a long time I nix my Saturday plans so I can be home i time for SNL.

Supposedly this was a proposed rollout plan, so this would’ve been made at least a little while back.

 

There's been rumors of a song dropping this week for a few days now. Apparently a model appeared in a new video for him a few weeks ago and let it slip by accident

Same! I wonder if he’ll mix elements of his previous projects somehow...

 

Does anyone know how to explain the “competitors” part of the diagram? So they’ve scheduled the releases for Travis, Father John, and ASAP, but need to find out the release schedules of the others? If that’s true then I think we might be getting a mix of his previous stuff.

Biggest competitor confusion for me is “Christine and the Queens”

 

Yeah I’m not really sure about that one, but for the rest yeah I’m pretty sure they just didn’t know the releases of the other albums at that point.

 

Yeah so Christine and the Queens reminds me of his Kauai stuff, so if he’s going back to that I’ll be so happy

 

Ugh, Kauai is so good. I hope his new stuff could be a mix of that and BTI.

What do y’all think this is gonna sound like? Singing? Rapping? Both?

 

None of his stuff sounds like Christine and the Queens but I am excited for some of his music to sound like her.

 

I kind of doubt he would go back to rapping in any capacity at this point, but I wouldn't mind a nuanced mix of the two, especially if this is his last album (under the moniker at least).

 

I'm listening to Awaken, My Love now and as cool/as much of a grower as it is as a whole, I still contend that there is some goofy vocal shit that weighs it down at times
