Their roster was worse than the Browns last year.

 

To be fair, the roster is bad haha. I see a lot of hope for the future but the rebuild has just begun haha. Bowles is COTY worthy if he gets 8-8 from McCown throwing to Enunwa with a Browns reject running the ball.

 

No way Darnold isn't the starting QB by at least Game 6.

 

Not sure how the Eagles pulled that off....he had 11M guaranteed over the last three years of his deal.

This actually makes sense though because a report came out during the draft that the Eagles supposedly "love" the depth at DT in next years draft hence parlaying #32 this year into a 2nd next.

 

Similar as to how it takes good luck to win a super bowl, I think it even takes some bad luck to be 0-16 as well.

 

Only internet dummies thought that they would be 0 - 16.

 

Also having Hue Jackson doesn't hurt.

 

If the Mahomes hype is real the Chiefs will be really good. Hunt, Hill, Watkins, Conley, Kelce. So many weapons. Not sure how the defense will look this year though.

 

That's their problem. For every weapon they added on offense, they removed from the defense. I'm not worried much about them.

 

Oh the offense is bad no argument there lol. The defense should be top half of the league at a minimum and will keep them in a lot of games

 

I'm sure I'll once again watch in amazement as they continue to be competitive in games haha.

 

Timmy Jernigan apparently hurt himself in an "offseason workout" and the Eagles were just going to cut him since they could void his whole contract since the injury took place away from the team. Hence him agreeing to a 3M base in 2018 so he can get paid something (being that he won't even return until November-December) and then the team has options going forward depending on how this surgery/recovery shakes out.

Major win for the Eagles (loss with him not being able to play, obviously) but big win on the contract. Especially being up against it in 2019 again.

 

They're really not as bad as you think

 

I think they're incredibly well coached. Their offense though is abysmal. Defensively, not that great. Purely talent wise. But Bowles has put together and coached a good team.

 

The fact that Robby Anderson hasn't gotten cut is surprising

 

Where did you see the Eagles were going to cut him ?

 

Right? What a tight ship the Jets are running.

 

Good young core with chemistry. I like a lot of their young role players

They are one CJ Anderson away from having my least favorite running backs all on the same team.

 

This board really loves the Chargers.

 

All 4 teams have a realistic chance at winning that division.

 

I think the Bears will fight for a NFC WC spot. As will Washington.

AFC WC will be a tight race. Texans and the other AFCW teams all have a chance. Ravens will be close too.

 

The Chargers are a very talented team top-to-bottom. A healthy Chargers (keyword: healthy) is an elite team.
